The band features vocalist, guitarist, and harmonica playing MATTIE PHIFER who brings years of performance experience from stages where she opened for blues greats such as Koko Taylor, Brownie McGee, Anson Funderburgh & Sam Meyers. Mattie has also shared the stage with Louisiana legend Tabby Thomas and South Carolina greats Drink Small and Nappy Brown. Most recently, the Phifer Marshall Band was joined on stage by Virginia's own, Deborah Coleman.

RICK MARSHALL brings many original tunes to the band's repetoire and his smooth and haunting guitar sounds give the band an edge that sets this band apart from other traditional blues bands. Rick is a master of classic rock and his guitar work gives the band a truly unique presentation of traditional and classic tunes.

GREG WILLARD (on bass)and DAVE MCNEER (on drums) make up the rhythm section of the Phifer Marshall Band. This pair of musicians provide the foundation for the blues...the bottom. They are solid, steady, and tight. Together, the Phifer Marshall Band provides the audience with and evening of fun dance music, old favorites, and straight forward blues guaranteed to get the dancers on the floor.
