My 9 month old is the second of our kids to have this toy and she loves it! Ever since she was about 5 months old she has played with it and drug it with her everywhere. It is absolutely worth the money. It has lasted through all kind of drops, teething, fights over it etc and still works perfectly. Almost looks brand new too. The songs are great and really excite the babies. My other daughter gave it up at about 3 years old, but my 9 month old won’t put it down. It is a diaper bag staple in this house. Buy it!

I first bought this toy at Target for about $20.00, 2 years ago when I was pregnant. I gave it to my daughter around 8 months and she loved it! It was her favorite thing to hold, though she could not do much with it except push the buttons. We all loved the real music. It took a lot of beating (dropping from the stroller, thrown from the stroller…). Only when, sadly, it was dropped in a swimming pool did it of course then stop working.
After that, it seems like I either cannot find this anywhere or it is priced very, very high. I finally found one at Amazon for 19.99 (some were as high as fifty!) from a different vendor than this one, and ordered it. My daughter was so excited when she saw it (now 18 months old) but when we opened the package the lights would come on but the music would not play, and it seemed rattle-y. So I have returned it. I do not see that vendor now, so maybe they dropped the item or the vendor.
Now I am going to order this one, even though it seems overpriced, because my daughter loves this toy so much; but I am still confused by the price raise. Is that normal inflation? There have been no changes to the toy that I can tell.
All that said, I still give the toy 4 stars because the first one was very durable and because my child really does love it. And for that I will buy it again.

My special needs 3 year old got this over 2 years ago and still plays with it every day. It is a great portable size, easy to hold, has volume control, simple button controls, and an on/off switch. Like the previous reviewer said, it does not burn through batteries, I changed the batteries for the first time last month. Ours has also endured multiple throwings, like every day in every parking lot and grocery store and still looks new and works great. Highly recommend.

A friend gave this toy to my son when he was around 6 months old. He is now almost 2 and still loves this toy and plays with it often. His father and I love it because the music is played by real orchestras/pianists, and doesn’t sound like the typical midi keyboard kiddy rendition I’m used to hearing from toys. The songs are all very popular classical tunes that everyone should know. I love that it has an on/off button and volume control knob. I just realized that I’ve never had to change the batteries it came with – another bonus! Enjoy!
